Lynmar Winery names Larry Moraes New General Manager
June 20, 2003, Sebastopol, Calif. — Lynmar Winery, a Russian River Valley winery specializing in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, today announced the appointment of Larry Moraes as General Manager.
Moraes will oversee winery operations, sales and marketing for the Sebastopol-based winery. Previously Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the California Wine Company (Stonegate Winery), Moraes' experience includes senior management positions with Young's Market Company, Franciscan Estates, and Wine Warehouse.
"Larry's skill set and experience make him an excellent addition to our team," said Lynn Fritz, owner. "He will spearhead many important projects including the addition of cellar caves, expansion of the winery and the creation of a hospitality center and guest facility, all geared to improve our wine quality, and the visitor's experience," he added.
Moraes attended San Jose State University and currently resides in Novato with his wife Sharon and family.
