| Balance, collaboration and creativity
are core to Lynmar’s farming, vineyard and winemaking
philosophy. And it is expressly through these ideals that
the realm of music is incorporated into the Lynmar Experience.
Lynmar’s
new Music Director, Dr.
Nolan Gasser, a pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor,
is convinced that the right music – whether background
or a featured concert - can enrich an event considerably,
and help create a truly memorable wine experience. Nolan
brings his vast experience and musical connections to
offer limitless music possibilities to the Lynmar team
and Wine Club members
– from background jazz and pop, to top-rate concerts
in every style of music: Jazz, Classical, Opera, Broadway,
Rock, World, and more.
You are currently listening to the title track of the CD,
the world-premier live recording of “The Garden of Epicurus”,
featuring vocalist Marcus Lovett, the Alexander String Quartet,
oboist James Matheson, and Nolan at the piano. The composition
is Nolan’s setting of a poem by Lynn Fritz, celebrating
the beauty of the Russian River Valley and the magic of the
Pinot grape. To give you a taste of the diverse collection
of music found on the CD, we’ve also included a sample
of two other tracks: the jazz standard, “The Days of
Wine and Roses” and “Bring Him Home” from
the musical Les Miserables. The entire CD is available for purchase in the tasting room. For more information call (707)
